The cover and the overview of the book was revealed on June 8th, 2021, via ReadRiordan, along with the cover of Aru Shah and the End of Time Graphic Novel. In another interview in a Zoom webinar, Roshani mentioned that the events of the book would have something to do with nightmare horses.
In a podcast interview by Half Blood Report, Roshani revealed that Aiden's family on the celestial side will be explored a bit more. However, the actual, official title of this book was revealed at the end of Aru Shah and the City of Gold, after the glossary.
